What Happens During a
Lymphatic Massage?
During your manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) session, you'll lie comfortably on a treatment table while I use gentle rhythmic movements and light pressure to stimulate the lymphatic system. These precise movements target lymph nodes and lymphatic pathways to facilitate the drainage of excess fluids and waste products.
Unlike traditional massage, manual lymphatic drainage uses an exceptionally light touch, without rubbing, oils, or lotions. Clients find the experience deeply relaxing while supporting healthy lymphatic circulation, reducing fluid retention and assisting the body’s natural detoxification process.
In my lovely studio in Costa Mesa, each session is customized to your body’s individual needs.
What are the signs of a sluggish Lymphatic System?
Common symptoms include persistent swelling, fluid retention, feelings of heaviness or discomfort, recurring infections, and a weakened immune response. Breast swelling, tenderness and a feeling of fullness or heaviness may also occur when there is lymphatic congestion in breast tissue.
